ARTIST BIO

Art educator and multi disciplinary designer Lauren Fry has spent the last 8 years working to support, promote and nurture artistic creation on the Island. Driven by the belief that engagement in art and artistic experiences has far reaching positive outcomes her projects include working in formal and informal educational settings with young people, the development of pop up artist studios and devising immersive children’s theatre. Through the exploration and utilisation of paper as a medium for the development of 3D objects Lauren has now stepped into the realm of maker, transforming disposable ephemera into items of sentimental worth that tell stories and stimulate memories.
